Overview

The RSV‑TU Single Duct VAV Terminal Unit is designed for precise volume flow control of supply air in variable air volume (VAV) systems. Featuring a circular inlet spigot and a larger rectangular outlet section, the unit is engineered to meet high technical and acoustic performance requirements.

With the addition of project‑specific accessories, RSV‑TU units can be tailored to diverse control needs. Heating requirements in perimeter zones of air‑conditioned buildings can be addressed using either electric heaters or hot water coils. Air diffusers may be connected directly to a multiple outlet box, reducing branch ducting and installation costs while maintaining system efficiency.

• Casing: 22‑gauge (0.8 mm) zinc‑coated galvanized steel for durability

• Airflow sensing: Cross airflow sensor with multi‑point measurement, amplification factor ≥ 2.5

• Damper construction: Gasket sandwiched between two 18‑gauge (1.2 mm) G.I. sheet metal layers for tight sealing

• Insulation: 1" (25 mm) fiberglass internal insulation with BGT cover, compliant with NFPA‑90A and UL‑181 standards

• Low leakage: Casing and damper leakage not to exceed 1% at 4 in.w.g. (1000 Pa)
